Wellington,…Home sweet home!!!!
Hi all
I got a phone call from a bank (ANZ) and they told me that they would like to have a face to face interview with me cause they liked what they read in my résumé. The woman asked if I was interested and I could not have said yes more quickly than I did. Nice thing is, they interview was scheduled in Wellington. Which all of you know is the place where we would like to make home. She told me that they have already booked a flight to Wellington for me and all I had to do was to show up at the interview at 12:30pm Tuesday afternoon. I could not contain my excitement.
Tuesday arrived and I was up at an early hour getting ready for my already paid trip down to Wellington. Shaun was friendly enough to drive us (Louis and Liza went along for the fun of it) down to the airport. My nerves were getting to me and nausea took hold of me. After they dropped me off I had some time to kill so I went to sit in the lounge and think of what to say. I could not really think for I was trying to hard getting rid of the sick feeling within me.
Finally I got on the plane and the sick feeling subsided. I started praying and continued to pray the entire flight. It was really great. Flying over Welington was an awesome experience and I fell in love immediately. It was great. I got of and took the taxi to 57 Vivian street Wellington which was the address to the interview. The interview went great and the people that I met with was awesome. To make the story short,… I got the job and will be signing the offer next week Wednesday. All of us are really relieved for it means that we are now ready to settle in our new country.
Anyway, back to Wellington. After the interview I had some time to kill so I went for a strut around town and found that the city was incredible and it is beautiful. I fell in love and felt home. This was like home felt like. I took the liberty of taking some photos of the places I have seen. Check them out.
The flight back was great but I tell you. Wellington is an awesome place!
